DID YOU LOSE A BORDER COLLIE 9 – 12 MONTHS AGO?
If you did then it may have turned up in Kayala. For the last 9 months or so a Black and white neutered male, wearing a black nylon collar has been patrolling Kayala but is beginning to annoy the locals as his herding instinct is coming out and is trying to round up cows, sheep, goats and chickens, To avoid him being shot by local farmers, someone who has seen him in the area all the time near houses and on the beaches, has taken him off the streets. He has wormed him, Frontlined him and fed him but unfortunately cannot keep him. He responds to English instructions and the person concerned is convinced the dog must have been owned by British people. If you think this dog might be yours, or you know of someone who lost a Border Collie about 9-12 months ago, please phone Jan on 0533 8214486. In the mean time KAR will be going through their records to see if he was reported as having been lost last year.
