Agreed. That is my favourite. There are one or two good one,s but the reaosn I like Chimera is because it is at the end and a quieter spot in many ways. Just in case you don't know which one, if you come down the side of the castle and turn left to wlak along the harbour it is the first one you come to and is both sides of the road. Prices up a little on last year, but good value, and the place has been refurbished - and the loos are now exceedingly 'posh' compared to last year.

My first choice all the time, even if it is sometimes just to sip a beer and watch the World go by.

The Chimera was one of the first restaurants I tried. I liked it, and they used to do a really nice curry there.

Good to hear that it is still popular.

Thankyou for your advice we will try Chimera Restaurant the next time we visit. Do they usually
have a special offer of the day?

I agree Chimera is very good, although their prices have increased since the refurbishment. Need to pay for it somehow, but the food, service is good and staff are friendly.
Another one that opened late last year is the Corner Bar next to Highline Paragliding. Excellent food and good value for money, friendly staff(formerly from Chimera) Restaurant is part owned by Highline.

I agree Chimera is very good, but for sea food we have not had a bad meal at the SET restaurant which is set up overlooking the harbour( not to be confused with the set restaurant on the way bak up to the car park)

The Carob used to be very good, though pricey. I have a feeling it has changed hands now?
