Try Girne, the garage by the new land registry office entrance on the main road, can't remember the name but we know a friend who drives up from the south to get his car seen to here.
Its on the right heading into town opposite a barber

Don't know where you are located but there was an excellent guy in Karsiyaka who did mine several years ago. Can only describe his location though. Coming from Lapta, go past the village square on your right, past the butcher shop on th right, past the hardware shop on the right and go on until just before the hotel, also on the right. Just before the hotel there is a track to the right and one house at the bottom, that is him. There was a sign on the roadside and sometimes a vehicle recovery truck was parked near the house. Hope that helps.

We went to Soner last year to get our car re-gassed and he was good, cheap and efficient. He was also recommended to us by a local taxi service who said they always used him, which is as good a recommendation as you can get. Soner's place is right beside Ya Beles on the Alsancak - Lapta road heading towards Lapta, on the left-hand side, just after the big Merit Hotel sign on the left too.
