No need for it and one of the reasons I prefer this forum to others.

Thanks for the praise. We do try. In this instance it was not me that got there first, but had I seen it I would have done the same. all it really needs is a warning couched in more kindly terms - something people find difficult when in a ragel maybe.

But thanks for the praise of the Forum. And thanks for being supportive of the Moderators - Soner in particular 'the boss' has the toughest time of all.

Perhaps one could say it was badly worded criticism! Tamam? worded another way would make it acceptable for posting. We shall see.

The problem is if you have a bad experience with a company it is difficult not to be offensive. i recall some time back someone was asking about damp proof companies and a person recommended a company that we had a bad experience with.

From memory I simply said , before you decide to use these people contact me privately. They never did so I hope they had a good experience.

I was the poster who told it like it is, yes I could have pussyfooted around and been diplomatic, however my experience with Jo Valentine and her dreadful company was appalling. END OF:

I think we all know you say it as you see it, maybe at times it would be better to count to 20!!
But then again that would not be you and it is personalities that help keep the forum fresh. It is a shame that Rambling Rose has stopped posting because others did not like what she posted, she is a bit prickly at times but so what!

Your comment above re the company gives enough info for others to be aware of your feelings regarding the company. I never saw the original post so can make no comment.

Have never used her and have never met her.

I think most people would agree that it is always good to hear the good and the bad when it comes to recommendations, but it is not acceptable to be so personal and insultive towards an individual.

Do not change the way you post, just the odd word occasionally, otherwise we would have nothing to argue about.

That said, reading your post on another thread might you just give up on the place or will it make you more assertive in your comments.

David, sadly I have given up, will not come back, the only civilised place is Al Shaheen's, good food, lovely staff, Imtiaz and Zafir are a joy to be around and are always delighted to see us, good food, excellent prices and I would like to think friends for life, I tried to persuade them to open up a restaurant here in UK but sadly it is out of their price range as they would need silly bond money. Shame. If I had the money I would sponsor them myself
