Multimax - help please

we have the multimax TV system and also wifi.
we are lucky enough to have an I pad and an Apple Mac both of which work perfectly with the wifi Internet and also run BBC I player on both devices.
My problem is that our Packard Bell laptop running on Windows 7 is not working with this system

I have taken the laptop to be "fixed" and have been told that its working fine and connects to their wifi system

if I try to trouble shoot and get connected the screen just freezes every time - as soon as it asks to be connected to our multi max server immediately after putting in the password and click ok - the whole thing freezes and we have to turn it off but it works fine with other networks.

why can I connect to other people's Wifi but not our Multimax ? as i said all our other devices are okay . is it anything to do with public and home network systems settings on this computer? Or is it a security thing?
any ideas or help would be gratefully received.

a friend visited recently with a very old Dell laptop and connected immediately to our wifi and picked up emails. It's very frustrating !

Have always had good service with Multimax but recently were really disappointed to find that they had cut us off without an e mail or text, because they said our annual payment was overdue.
It wasn't in fact due for another couple of weeks!
Thanks go to Mo for sorting it out, I hope it was a one off slip up of customer care by Multimax in not contacting us about payment.

Just for information, we have systems in place where system automatically sends emails 5 days prior to expiration and smses 2 days prior. This however only works if you have a current phone number and email address with us. Even so, expecially now with all spam filters and like, there is unfortunately some messages that gets lost in the spam folder or just disappear. Even with sms'es we sometimes face issues with message being sent but sms gateways reporting errors like 'undelivered' or 'delayed'.

We know that our notification systems are not 100% for reasons mostly beyond our control. The mistake on your expiration date appears our problem however (without further investigation), and for that I apologize on behalf of Multimax.

Just for future reference, our call support number 0548 888 6629, is available 8am - 2am 7days a week, and even though it may not be possible for us to fix these sort of issues outside of business hours, we will definitely grant you a couple of days of extension until the matter is resolved.

Be assured that we are constantly working on improving systems and knowing that it will not be perfect unless we are all replaced by robots. Our customer's understanding and positive criticism is really appreciated in these kind of situations.

Kemal

Thank you, Kemal, we haven't changed our phone numbers or e mail but we appreciated Mo's input and speedy resolution of the problem.

Kemal .. Reading the post by Panchocat it seems that you can cut people off as & when ..

We have some neighbours who are still working in the UK & come out 3 or 4 times a year for 10 to 18 days each time ..
Is it possible to do some sort of a deal to cover these if you knew the dates in advance ..
