BAMBOO BEACH BECOMES BAMBOOZLE BEACH
Last nights opening became a fiasco when Al August announced that he had run out of gas and could not give some holders of prepaid 25TL tickets their food. He offered a free meal at some future date and a free bar BUT NO REFUND. Al, its your name over the door a personal word with the unlucky few would have been better

as far as I see it, Al's only failing was in trying to do too much. He was let down over the gas installation, and that is why the opening was postponed, and he was single handedly doing the cooking (only a madman would do that - but he did!). I should think he was exhausted .
I don't know how many p[eople were affected (we were but two) but I think the offer of a meal etc in future is fair, or can you imagine all the money paid back in one hit and how disastrous that would have been for al.

He was let down, and many others were let down, but i assume they enjoyed their drinks, the entertainment and the company of friends - so how much was that worth out of the ticket cost????????
