Cost of Caravan Tax

I believe there is a caravan tax, a bit like a road tax, not import duty? Does anyone know the cost of this???

Suggest you have a word at the police station, I have always found them very helpful.

In the UK at the moment that's why I am asking, otherwise of course I would just pop into the police station or Tax Office.
Just wondered if anyone else had a caravan and knew the cost of the tax.

I have seen a couple of old caravans parked in gardens, but must admit I have never seen any on the roads, only a couple of mobile homes and I think they were just passing through. I will try to find some information for you.

How interesting you enquiring about caravan tax. Do you intend to import a caravan or buy one in Cyprus ?

Once we are retired in Cyprus I would like a caravan so we can go touring around Turkey and then who knows.
I heard there is a Caravan / Trailer Tax and wondered how much this is. We will all be aware that some Taxes are very high. If this is the case with a caravan then I would have to weigh up the costs. I have seen some for sale in Cyprus near Catalkoy.
Does anyone know the approx. cost of this tax or know someone who has a caravan, I have seen plenty about Cyprus.
