Is the Parazone bleach you buy here in NC watered down, it doesn't seem as thick as inUK?

It's a few years since I bought any Parazone in the UK, but if memory serves, didn't there used to be two strengths? There was one version that I'm sure was a lot thicker than the usual strength. Sparky71, you're absolutely right. I bought some shampoo in Mr P about 3 weeks ago and sure enough there was a special offer in Illelis at less than half price. We tend to think if it's Mr P then it's got to be cheaper and it isn't always the case.

I have just been to the Economic and great bargains for the bleach 1tl various other items. cheaper than Mr pound.
They have lots of offers on items washing up liquid, washing powder, kitchen roll etc to name a few. Think I will be making another trip before they all sell out.

Is Economic on the east side, if so I'll have to pop in Sunday when I make a visit to the rescue centre?

I had always understood that most of the houses here had a cess pit/septic tank rather than UK type sewers. I further understood that bleach was absolute death to the bacteria that keep a cess pit running properly and is a total "no no". My neighbours buy packets of bacteria to ensure the cess pit performs properly. Even products like mouthwash can have a negative effect although there are cess pit friendly versions of most such things.
Can anyone give chapter and verse on this?

I was also advised not to use bleach. I must admit, I do occasionally.
I also put any spare yoghurt down the loo. That apparantly replaces the good bacteria
and keeps everything working as it should.
