Hello. I would be very grateful for suggestions. I am thinking of buying a digital camera, my old kodak brownie is getting a bit past it.
I want one that is fairly easy to use, good quality but not too expensive.
And would I need anything else to be able to transfer the photographs from the camera to my laptop.

I am not an expert, but I am now on my second digital camera, so know a bit more than I used to. I bought my latest at Yucel in Kyrenia and they are very helpful in there. A lot depends on what you wish to use it for, and hence how many pixels and how much you end up paying.
with both my cameras (one bought 8 years ago, another just a few months ago), the relevant leads are with the camera for downloading onto computer. In fact with my latest one, it also charges up the battery whilst attached to computer.
I really would suggest you go into a shop and chat with them. i find most of the shop keepers here helpful. And really any of the better makes will do.
or maybe someone else has other ideas.

We bought ours when we went to Istanbul, in a shop, not the Grand Bazaar. As Marion said, best to get advice from shop unless you know a techie that can help/
