My friend and I were in the karaoglanoglu branch yesterday when a man came in asking where he could get
keys cut.
They, and we tried to give him directions to Girne. He really wasn't sure where he had to go.
The next thing, one of the staff said that he had a scooter, and would take the key to get it cut for him.

Now how's that for service, and a far as I'm aware, the man didn't even purchase anything from the shop!!!!

Guess it is down to the individual. I went into the shop at Catalkoy andf they would not accept my gift vouchers cos they said I had to take them to Karaoglanoglu. Nothing on the vouchers to say that. so I was faced with paying in cash or putting the items back. I really went only to spend the vouchers, but did not want tolook 'orrible and put the goods back.

so maybe it is very much down to the individual, NOT the store and its policy on service.

Strange you should mention your voucher Marion. I bought two shoe racks in Catalkoy storemax, when I got
home, one was faulty. They couldn't change it at the Karaogolanolu branch for some reason.
Maybe the managers work on a commision, who knows?
But I have always found them to be helpful and friendly.

I've always found the K. branch to be extremely helpful and friendly. When they first opened they used to follow people around which was disconcerting, but they have stopped that now thank goodness. I suspect the branches are independent of one another as I was in the K, shop a couple of weeks ago and a lady was being told she had to go the other branch as her original purchase was from there.

Where is stormax in catalkoy?
I know where the one on the Karakum Ozankoy border is,But I didn't realise there was one In catalkoy as well?

sorry for my rotten geography. Thought it was Catalkoy, but obviously not that far along the road. Living out in the wild West as I do, my knowledge of geography in the Mystic East is obviously appalling.

so, I was talking about the one that is somewhere past china Bazaar!!!!!

If you drive through karakum, it's on the right hand side before China Bizarre.
They have a big car park and garden furniture on their frontage.
