me and my husband were driving back from girne to what we saw ahead was a car accident.

but to our horror we saw a mangled up bicycle first and about 20 people all waiting and out their cars.
untill then i see a woman laying dead on the grass area with a smashed up back from glass from the taxi window screen and her face.. i still see her face when i shut my eyes now

she was reported as a 55 year old russian woman.
so sad

dont no who's fault it was, but can guess easily. these taxi drivers drive too fast in cyprus.

How sad for the lady and her family & for you to witness that. I did read that it was thought the driver of the Mercedes had the sun in his eyes and didn't see her.

Anyone wishing to help the family of the killed woman can do it .

URGENT HELP NEEDED!
Russian women of 55, Irina Tulinseva, was hit by a taxi car yesterday in Alsancak and died immediately. Russian community organized money collection in aid of the son and daughter in law of Irina, currently unemployed and in serious need of money. The funds will be all used for organization of funerals and related payments to authorities in TRNC. Anyone willing to help should leave his aid at Colibri shop (between Ileli and Starling supermarkets in Alsancak). This is URGENT because the relatives of Irina are in the process of sorting procedures and making payments now so please if you are willing to help don’t wait. Thank you for your support from all Russians of TRNC.
