Ipad 2 hanging & freezing help anyone

Last week my ipad started hanging & freezing. I have looked on the Internet & tried all the suggestions I.e. rebooting, clearing Safari cache & cookies, syncing with my laptop but it is no better. Has anyone any suggestions please?
