Can anybody recommend a Casino where there is a minimum bet on the roulette tables. Free drinks. Snacks. Never been and would like to have a go. Don't want to spend too much money.
Thank you.

I have only been to the Cratos. That has an electronic roulette games and you can bet from 25kurush with a minimum bet of 5tl Takes quite a while to loose you money but the do provide a free meal at 8pm and drinks all the time you are playing. small packs of fags are also free. Don't do it very often but it's good fun every couple of months

To clarify the minimum bet at Cratos on the automatic roulette. The "punters" above have quoted it at 2TL and 5TL?
Strangely enough they are both correct!
If it's quiet, it's 2TL. You can guess the next bit. If you can't, don't go near a casino, as the odds will be even more in their favour.
Anyway, a good night out. Dress up a bit, if the men must wear shorts, make them good ones. The Brits with holiday clothes do stand out a bit. Lots that appear as 2-bob millionaires. Keep the Renault 5 in Lemar car park and walk. They have eyes and ears everywhere. They know to within a Lira what you arrive with and what you leave with. Have a peek at what the "pit bosses" are looking at on their screens - every players photo with enough info to know nearly what they had for breakfast.
Plenty of mainlanders with some serious dosh to play with.

Sorry to bring an old post up but have friends staying who are interest in going to Cratos - popped in today to see prices etc and was quoted 50TL for entry - seems reasonable but does this include the meal drinks etc mentioned above?

Malpas & jasmine court are nice.
Me and my friends went about 1 year ago and spent like 30tl each as we don't gamble but we wanted
To go as we was interested, so we had a few goes on the machines and had a laugh along with some
Cocktails etc.
There were also a buffet of food on (at certain time) and was really good food.
It had everything to satisfy your taste buds.
We had to of course give Passports and then they took a picture of us too.
It was a really good night
But Turkish Cypriots are not allowed to go in there for some reason.
But mainland Turkish are allowed. Weird.

The Dome in Girne is a minimum bet of 1TL on the roulette, no checks when you go in, usual free drinks, fags and nibbles, very relaxed. We use it occasionally and never take more than 50TL each, usually get a couple of hours fun out of it, the wife nearly always comes away with at least her stake but usually a small winning (100 -200TL)
Colony is very nice but all bets are in dollars.
Never go at weekends as they raise the minimum bet at nearly all cassinos
