I love porridge, in fact I had some yesterday! They tend to run low during the summer months here but Lemar, Alsancak have Jordans, 2 types, which you can find in the far right hand corner of the shop. Enjoy! Regards, Mrs Snakes.

Another archetypal post from Philoz:
No specific details given regard to the original post and a sarcastic one liner to end!

How many times have we seen this, its getting very boring and frankly it childish when the original poster has asked a genuine question for a genuine reason.

Silverfox - I answered the question, posed in the original post.
And yes,It is too hot for porridge,in my opinion.
I hardly think that constitutes sarcasm,so what is your problem?

You need to chill out I think

I agree Dog Walker, the Turkish company, Lifalif's oats/yulaf are very nice and make great flapjacks as well as porridge. I find there can be a hickup wit supply. I buy in Famagusta Lemar and found it's not always available, but I have now persuaded two shops here in Dipkarpaz to stock it. I've been making flapjack for them as a thank you and they all love it, might be setting a trend!!

I often wonder if people ever look in supermarkets and shops themselves and find it easier to sit at a PC and expect other people to solve their problems. I haven't been in a supermarket that doesn't stock porridge oats these days, either Quaker or Scotts and yes there is Lifalif which is considerably cheaper.

Never been a fan of porridge. After spending 2 weeks in Lefkosa state hospital where b/fast was cucumber olives cup of cold water and a bread roll. I began to dream of a bowl of creamy porridge.
Have it for b/fast most days now.
Thanks dandelite for putting the idea into my mind. I've now made some flapjacks
