Hi,
Has anyone bought one of these Lecla TV's please?
Is it good quality and do you know where they come from-Turkey or China-or somewhere else?
Cheers
Rosie

Re: LECLA TV
There are only 3 companies in the world that manufactures LCD panels for TVs; LG, Samsung and Sharp.
All other brands uses their own design together with LCD panels of one of these companies.
there is no TV currently on the market that is manufactured outside of China and South Korea.
For only a few brands, there are assembly plants in in Malasia, Thailand and Hungary, and maybe in a few other locations too small capacity to mention.
---
In Cyprus, it is important where you get the TV from (for aftersales service and support) more than the brand itself. Techmar/Hasel which is the importer of Lecla TV's are operating in Cyprus as far as I can remember and have a positive reputation.

Re: LECLA TV
I have a 42" 3D Lecla purchased from Techmar 20 months ago and it is excellent. When I first got it Techmar gave me a lot of help in sourcing 3D material and in setting up an external drive so I could watch stuff downloaded to my PC.
Just to add to Kbasat's comments, Lecla use Samsung screens.
Would I buy another? - without hesitation!

If you haven't done torrent downloading before then I can explain how - but you will need a good internet link as some of these 3D movies are huge (eg. Avatar Blu-Ray is 46gb) - I have Multimax 5gb (10gb overnight) which is perfect for heavy downloads.
If you want I have a lot of stuff on an external drive that you could copy to get you started. Just pm me with a phone no and we can arrange a meet.
Also my satellite package includes Nova and Sky Italia, both of which have 3D channels - not bad for 200tl per annum.
