Problems for Chelsey Village people, those who haven't paid their mainenance costs locked out.

Read about that yesterday. I can sympathise up to a point as the payers are subsidising the non payers. An eternal problem on communial sites.

My reading was the non-payers wanted sight of the annual accounts to see where their money was going and to have their contractual snagging-lists fixed. Both requests have been refused, so what else can they do? How can you deny children/infirm/aged people from driving to their legally purchased homes, especially in this heat? Common sense - it would appear the expats at Chelsey Village have adopted the least sensible option possible; too much Sangria maybe!

I have read on another forum that the residents don't own the land only their properties, the whole thing will end in disaster and the residents will never get Kocans.
