Spiral Staircase.
I am considering building a raised terrace and a spiral staircase(I am thinking cast iron) would be a good way of accessing it.
Has anyone had one made here?
Or does anyone know if you can buy them here in kit form?
Any suggestions or advice, and ideas of cost would be appreciated.

philoz , ive had an enormous amount of metal work done , not sure about cast iron , even if it was available it would be extremely expensive and is quite difficult for bespoke work , I would have thought normal steel , one question , will the whole of the staircase be metal or just the sides ? kit forms are fairly common here but not sure about spiral , if you have no success here then maybe worth considering having one shipped from the uk .

I've seen a lot of spiral staircases here, also I'm quite sure there was one in the catalogue from our metal man. He gets all his stuff from Famagusta. Can find the name of the company if you want and check if they got an office in Girne

Re: Spiral Staircase.
@ Chelwood - Thank you for reply, sorry I should have said cast iron or steel,I am not too fussy, and yes,all the same material for the sides works fine for me.
I was thinking spiral because of the space available location wise.
Given that metalwork seems to be a cottage industry here,I thought I would try to source locally first.
I had considered the UK route as a last resort as I would imagine shipping costs would be huge given the weight?
@ Dippersgirl- Yes please,I would appreciate a contact number!
Thank you both for your help.

Leroy Merlin (South Side) do some nice kit form spiral staircases, not that far over the border.
