The MoleMax 1 dijital system recently purchased by the North Cyprus Cancer Charity Trust is based at The Girne Dr. Akçiçek Hospital. The doctor to contact is Dr. Fatma. I am sure that if you go along to the hospital (the admin section is at the back of the hospital near the car park) they will be able to assist. Good luck.

And please let u sknow how you get on. A lot of us are curious but haven't heard of anyone who has actrually been and been tested. good luck. personaly I think it is a fbaulous sounding machine. and I am sure it wil be invaluable for diagnosis by the doctors and peace of mind for the patients.

I will keep you posted. My husband has a sore patch on the top of his (balding!) head, which does not look like the normal signs that we are all supposed to keep a watch for. He has had several cryo treatments, where they try to freeze it off, at a local skin specialist. As the skin is very thin there, cutting it out would be difficult. After a couple of years we still do not have a diagnosis, and are getting a bit concerned. So we were very grateful that this machine is available, and will shortly go to try it out.

I saw Doctor Fatma in the girne hopital, as I had a mark on my face that didn't clear.
You do need to get to the hospital early and get a ticket from the reception, they will tell you which room she is in.
She informed me that it was skin cancer and within three days, I was treated by Doctor Arson. He cut it
out and I took the sample to Lefcosia state hospital.
Within a week or two, I collected the results, and was told it was all out.
Excellent service !!!!!!!
Good luck Hippo,

No, been a bit busy, but will go shortly and report back. You were brave to make a joke of the rodent ulcer, I was tempted too! Not a subject to joke about, but hey, let's enjoy whatever life throws at us. Kaiser, my Dad has had several of these cut out over a period of twenty years, he is now 94 and going strong, so don't worry too much if another appears, it is a possibility.
