Sorry I can't help you with a phone number but would suggest you visit the Belediye in Girne and try a face to face meeting I was always under the impresion that there is a Park Manager somewhere around and they might know where he is based if you ask I the cafe at the rear of the Park. I don't go to the park if I can help it because the state of the animals horrifies me and people have tried for years to improve them, without muh if any success I'm afraid.

Thank you for at least suggesting that. I may have to go and do that. I am a little worried now that you mentioned the care of the animals not being very good. Oh decisions decisions.

Why am I not surprised Something has to be done regarding the cruelty to animals in the TRNC, I will be so glad when all my connections with the place are over, hopefully by end of month, then I am out of the place forever.
Sorry Soner but it has to be said.

The man in charge of the parks has an office, upstairs, in the white building between car park and Wednesday market.

Belle- I had the feeling you were not happy here from reading other posts. I hope your next "place" of living is better and suits you to be happy.
DieHard- Good movie! And thank you.
I know no one wants to work for free, but are there any vets that can do some checks n such when they are free? I wonder how an organization can be made for better care of the animals. If it is all bad, I'm glad there is not a zoo here because who knows how those animals would be living. North Cyprus could be a more beautiful place if her people took care of her better. A lot of land but trash everywhere, unfinished buildings, and animals living stray and struggling. I think a major problem is also that the people are so lazy- it takes forever to get things done and I didn't mention it being done right. ok I'll stop I'm rambling- but just a thought because Baris Park is really nice and could be better.

I agree with everything that you have said.
