Petrol Price Down

95 octane is down today to 2.99 - I didn't notice the others.

Typical - I filled the car yesterday

Where was this please? Filled up at Atakara yesterday to take grandson to LCA,it was 3-16.

They all have to charge the same price, which is govt controlled.

They should all charge the same but they don't. Prices East of Girne vary from 2.99 to 3.18 and to 3.29. Cheapest petrol always at KPET opposite Starling at Bellapais and the KPET between Catalkoy and Karakum.

Fesenjan - they do all charge the same it's just that some can't be bothered with changing the displayed price at the roadside. The price at the pumps is always uniform.

You could be right, the garage on the main road towards Catalkoy is displaying 3.88

Agree with the above. I asked my usual filling station yesterday why they hadn't reduced the prices on their sign. Answer - can't be bother to climb the ladder!

The reduction of fuel is not yet in place. I went to my local filling station today for gazyar ( paraffin ) and noticed the pump price was 2.65tl, I asked about the reduction and was told it would be 3 days later.
It seems the garages bought their last fuel at at higher price and will not sell it cheaper, BUT when it goes up it happens there and then. This is down to the filling station Unions.
