Indian Visa
Can anyone tell me the quickest and easiest way to get an Indian Visa from Northern Cyprus. Can it be done on-line or do you have to attend in person?

Re: Indian Visa
Hi. You will not get one here. You could visit the Indian Embassy in the South. The best of luck to you if you try there. You should try the Indian Embassy in Ankara Turkey.
http://www.indembassy.org.tr/ Think it takes about 10 days. Search on these forums for people trying for Indian Visas in the South. http://www.kibkomnorthcyprusforum.com/s ... a&fid[0]=8

You will not get it South unless you can prove residency there. Ankara is a possibility or UK
Some are wise and some otherwise.....

We were refused a visa in the South but the embassy in Ankara were very helpful. As it was all so much hassle we will not be going to India again!

Re: Indian Visa
I turned up at the Hounslow Indian Visa Centre 22nd Dec - maximum of 12 people waiting. Processed within days and passports plus visas couriered to my sister's house 27th Dec (remembering Xmas shutdown). I found it impossible to achieve in Cyprus.

It appears that Sage has lost interest in his query. Black Cat, when you live here not many people are willing to send their passports off to UK indefintely in case there should be an emergency which requires you to leave the country.

Hi Guys. Havent lost interest, but was awaiting the outcome. I have done my application on line and have sent passport + copies of application + photos back to the UK with my sister in law who then sent them onto the Indian Embassy by registered post. I will let everyone know if I am successful and how long it took.

Re: Indian Visa
All my paperwork etc received by the Indian Embassy on the 12th January, processed and sent back to my sister in laws address in the UK on the 16th February.
Throughout the process I received 3 e-mails informing me when my paperwork was received, when it was being processed, and when it was processed and dispatched to me.
So India here I come.

So how are you getting your passport back to TRNC? You have obviously been without your passport for around 5 weeks already I would not want to be without mine for that long here.

Re: Indian Visa
Im sorry the above should read 16th January and not 16th February. I have been without my passport for 10 days and my sister in law brings back my passport on Monday.

Yes sorry date did not sink in of course we are not in middle of February yet! That is acceptable as long as you have couriers available at the appropriate time & the passport is always turned around that quickly.
Enjoy your trip!
