Missing Husky
My friends husky went missing last night from Bufavento Sitesi Catalkoy. He is very large, grey and white with blue eyes 3 years old. He has a blue collar and he is micro chipped. Very friendly his name is Murphy. If any one sees him please call Tuna on 0533 869 1352. Thank you.

Re: Missing Husky
We saw a husky yesterday when we were walking our dogs. It was friendly. It was in the small estate to the right just past The Serenli Holiday Village on the road to Buffavento. Bit late but it might still be around there.

So glad he is back. We all know the "feeling"
Have you thought about one of these? Not cheap, but what would you pay to avoid the heartache.
I wonder if Murhphy would have been found within minutes with one of these?
They also do tags for kids and for cats. I have them and I have saved a small fortune finding my cats collars after they have been lost. However, with the cat tags, they only work a short distance from the control unit.

Deniz1.
Glad he is home and safe, I know what it is like as this happened to us in Ozankoy but the dog chewed through the rope and came home 3 days later.
Give our love to Tuna.

Re: Missing Husky
Thanks every one. I will pass the message on Mel. According to the beledeyi there is no chip reader available here its just a money making scheme getting animals chipped. I hope that is wrong. Wonder if KAR can confirm this.

Re: Missing Husky
As far as I understand, all the vets that do the chipping have a reader! Not sure about the Beledeyi.

Re: Missing Husky
I checked out that dog locator and it is only accurate within 5 meters which is not a lot really for the cost. A great idea though if they could have a wider location area.

Re: Missing Husky
Most (it should be all) Vets have chip readers. KAR has at least one. They are not expensive and if your Belediye hasn't got one, I would suggest the people in the area should Lobby them. Not sure where from, but first people I would have thought would be the Government Vet. Department.

I have just been round to see Murphy and he is fast asleep on his carpet in the sun none the worst for his adventure.
