Pension Advice for New Changes 2015

My local Radio station, Radio Kent, held a question and answer this morning regarding the new changes regarding private pensions where people no longer have to have Annuities. There will be lots of information being banded about in the next few months but this phone in put it all more simpler by David Braithwaite a Pensions Advisor. Citizens Advice has released the names of the first 44 bureaux in England and Wales which will be delivery centres for face to face Pension Wise sessions.

I post this for those interested and to keep up-to-date with what is happening as there will be, in the future, a lot of companies jumping on the bandwagon to give advice and it might not be the right advice.

Hi Dalartokat

Yes watched a great programme on bbc last week .
The suggestion that those recently advised to " buy annuities " rather than wait to after April could be infact compensated was nice to see.
To many in the financial advise sector look to feather their own nests first ,then then their customers .

Kavenkoy, yes your right the advice is now wait until after April. We've had in the past in UK mis-sold Endowment policies, PPI's. Just feel that this could be also be similar. A lot to absorb for people like yourself looking to retire in the future, or should we say "temptation".

Maybe a surge in the property market in North Cyprus in the future :0)
