Four of my kittens were poisoned this afternoon...I found two dead on my garden chairs. One is with the VET on a drip and is at his home. What a vet...came to my home on a Saturday afternoon to check the other cats.
I am talking about Altay from Petpoint.
He is comparatively new to the area but it is the second time he has spent time on a Saturday afternoon caring for my animals. He is kind, thorough and caring.
Oh yes the fourth kitten I have been unable to catch as of yet, but not looking too good.
If you need a VET....try Altay. He is at Petpoint beside the video shop in Catalkoy opposite the leather shop.
If you need a vet- Altay at Petpoint

Couldn't agree more. I posted my experience on the pet's forum a few weeks ago because I did not wish to incur the wrath of the mods by posting on the general forum,Snowy wrote:Four of my kittens were poisoned this afternoon...I found two dead on my garden chairs. One is with the VET on a drip and is at his home. This dedicated young man deserves to be praised.
I lost a beautiful and much loved young cat, to put it kindly, due to an oversight of one of the more popular vets here.
When one of my other 2 was not well, I was at a loss as to who to trust, fortunately Sonya at the food lodge had recommended Altay on an earlier post so I took Bobby there. Altay said he thought it might be an ear infection but wasn't sure and if Bobby was still not right on Monday to bring him back.
By sunday it was obvious that Bobby was extremely ill, we rang Altay, who had noticed how distressed Bobby was at being put in his cat carrier.
Altay said he would come to our house.
He arrived at 3pm with everything he could possibly need and immediately put Bobby on a drip, gave him injections and for 2 hours observed him.
Bobby was now in a coma and inches from death.
I am not being overdramatic, just stating facts.
When Altay was satisfied that Bobby was stabilised he went home for a much earned break
and came back at 7pm. At 9.30pm, when he was satisfied that Bobby was ''out of the woods'' he took him home with him and for the rest of the week took him to the clinic with him in the morning and home at night.
Bobby had septicaemia[ excuse my spelling if wrong owl lady] caused by a parasite.
Bobby is now fine thanks to Altay and for all you Cynics, for what he charged us, he is obviuosly not in it to make a fortune.
Thank you Altay and Sonya for recommending him.
Bo
