RIP Linda Penning

Sadly Linda Penning passed away unexpectedly at the age of 67 just as she was hoping to meet her third grandchild in June,
The funeral is Monday 26th January , and daughter Georgina sends the following message (copied form Facebook)



Holly (sister married to Adem Topcu)my dad (George) and I would like to thank everyone for their heartfelt condolences at this difficult time, your words have all meant alot. For those of you who wish to say your goodbyes mum is to be laid to rest at Green Hill Cemetry on Monday 26th January at 10.30am. We would request that no one wears black as we find it all a little sombre and thats far from what mum was. Those who wish are invited to lay flowers or make a donation to the wonderful people at The British Cemetry Committee which can be done on the day. Thanks once again"

Anyone who knew Linda is welcomed to join the family to pay tribute to a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. It is said that the road up to Greenhills is very passable at the moment, and that even a salon car can make it, but relaly if one can go in a 4 wheel drive, it is far better.

Just seen that the weather forecast for tomorrow is good. Sunny and 17 degrees. It is good that Cyprus will be shining down on Linda's farewell as she shone down on the lives of many .
