Right!

Unplug the computer, carry it over to the window, and chuck it out.

Problem solved!

Seriously though...

Before you 'log on' next time, make sure that you tick the little box next to the 'Login' button - the one that says "log me in automatically each visit".

If your Browser (that's Internet Explorer, Chrome, or Firefox - or whatever you happen to use to access the Internet) offers to 'remember the Password' for you, accept the offer! If it doesn't, you might want to get someone a bit more 'Techy' to force it to do so

When you've finished looking at the Forum, DO NOT 'Log out', or close down the Browser - just carry straight on with the next task, or simply shut your computer down. The computer will do what it has to do, to shut down properly, so you needn't bother. This has the advantage that you shouldn't have to 'Log in' the next time that you visit the forum, because you never 'Logged out'!

If that doesn't work then you may have your security settings set a bit too high, but we'll tackle that if, and when, we need to - there's no point in getting over-complicated unless we need to.

Thanks for tha t Keith unfortunately it's not that simple I use an iPad and the app . I get in each time after captcha and do not close it bu as soon as I go back or to gc news I have to do it again .this happens as much as 4 times a day also in the box underneath the captcha it asks for comments presumably they go to someone whose ears must be red now .

Have no fear, super sleuth S oner is now on the case. If he can't fix it, then take Keith's advice and throw the computer out of the window!!!!

Hopefully Dr Computer/Soner will put you right. I do hope so!!!!!!!!!!!!!
