British passports safely picked up

Just wanted to thank all of you who kindly gave us directions to the British High Commission. Our new passports came back within two weeks, much to our surprise but also pleasure, and we picked them up this morning. I see what you mean about the small roundabout, though, quite dodgy to navigate, but we came back all in once piece. And our shipment from Australia, which has been stuck on the docks of Istanbul for four months since it arrived in mid-April is likely to be on its way in the next couple of weeks, so things are falling into place.
