No respect for thier own environment simple as that. Pretty similar to what it was like in UK before the keep Britain Tidy Campagne back in the 60's I think . Probably a generation away from any noticeable changes here.....unfortunately

My opinion anyway for what it's worth

This is just off the Old Coast road. on the way to Kaplicia. If they did the coast road up a bit it would make a very nice tourist route. But there are parts where is a bit awkward with a normal car. But if they did this then they would have to clean the "Beaches" up as well. As you say if no one cares whats the point eh.

When we lived in Goa, the locals would have a party in the trees at the back of the beaches most weekends, There would be hundreds of them, at the end of the party they just take off and leave all the rubbish behind. They did not care either.

Ah well just have to grin and bear it eh.

No different in the U.K.....
Just look at one of the Royal parks in London on a Sunday evening in the summer....
A traveller's site......
Any City Centre after the weekend,
The only difference is that in the UK you have a host of cleaners to put it all back in order afterwards.
Its a service paid for by the high UK Council tax, whereby in the TRNC you dont get much for the 30 TL you pay a month.
