House / Land ; What is permitted ?
A query for friends :
Ex-pat married couple; has anyone current information on legislation re : how many purchases of private property, number of deeds they would be allowed to hold?
It has been a long time since I went through this process and I am sure legislation has changed.
Thanks in advance.

Suggest this question be directed to an advocate specialising in conveyancing. I heard 1 x property unless using a registered company and a maximum of 5 donums. Is a separate PTP required for each property? The variations/questions need professional advice, not likely to be found here.

I have had my ptp for 6 years but still no kocan. It really depends on who you buy from and unfortunately we bought from one of the developers who do not hand over kocans in a hurry. We live in hope that we might eventually get them.

Surely it would be best advice to only buy where the Kocan is present and in the sellers name

That would be the ideal Kav. However, if purchasing on a new development, it appears that the development must be 100% complete before the process of processing the issue of individual Kokan's will be commenced and even then there can be numerous issues that may delay the issue of these; including non payment of council and property tax by any other properties on the same development.

That would always be the gamble buying off a new development ,and a new build.
I would think with plenty of other property's available the safe money would be that .
Best not buying at all in NC as the government don't want you there .
Best rent and be stress free
