Re: cost of electricity
The current cost is 275@ .38, 275 @ .44, 275 @.52, then .65, don't know if it goes any higher, as I've never been higher. It's expensive.

It's certainly not the place to live in if you are prone to leaving lights on and your house looking like Blackpool Illuminations.

Re: cost of electricity
OK thanks,
We are going to rent the property out and provide 350 units/week free of charge, anything above that we are going to deduct from a bond at the current rate.
Regards

Re: cost of electricity
The actual number of units that you get in each price band is 8.3333 units per day, so it depends how many days there are between readings as to how may you get...
If, when the meter is read, it is 33 days since the last reading, then as stated, you will get 275.
If it's only 28 days, then you'll get 233.
A tenant using 350 units in 7 days, would cost you 211 TL inc. VAT. Any further units would cost 0.65 TL each plus VAT @ 10%

Re: cost of electricity
This calculator allows for multi occupation over a billing period two tenants
so 350 units used in a month higher rate kicks in at 250 check you have the right charges

Yes, I forgot that the last reading was late, and I just used those figures, but as we all know IT'S EXPENSIVE and of course people coming just on holiday, use everything, beause they don't understand the cost.

Re: cost of electricity
Thanks for that reminder wanderer.
I had actually downloaded BeeKeeper's spreadsheet and tweaked it a bit to update the unit cost, & also to make the units per month vary in sympathy with the days in the month.
You can download my 'version' from http://yorkie.host56.com/documents/electric%20(1).xls
You will need Microsoft Excel or similar to use it.
The prices that I quoted earlier are still correct though...
