Went along to Kibtek this morning, just after 11am, to report that we were receiving high incoming voltages of 266V (as detected by our voltage regulators). Engineers came out to Esentepe and adjusted our site transformer by 3pm and voltage now coming in at 245V. Did not expect such a fast response, so thanks and very well done to Kibtek.

I could smell plastic burning wafting into my apartment last summer. I went downstairs to where the apartment electric boards and meters are and found that my main fuse was literally alight! With the help of Turkish neighbour managed to turn off the electricity. Luckily I had Kibtec emergency number in my mobile which I promptly handed to my neighbour who reported what had happened. I envisaged a few nights over the weekend without electricity but the Kibtec guys were around within the hour and patched the melted fuse and board up so that I had electricity. I then just had to go to the Kibtec office in Girne on the Monday and paid for a new fuse. The new fuse was then fitted the next day. I was most impressed with the service. No fuss, no drama. Well done to Kibtec!
