Large sections of timber to construct garden raised beds
I'm looking for some large sections of timber to construct some raised beds. In the UK I have used 250mm x 125mm x 2400mm long sections (length cut to suit). I don't think that I'll be able to get this size in Cyprus but anything close would be good. Any suggestions of where to get the timber from would be appreciated.....we are Esentepe side the island.
Many thanks

Have you asked the carpenter in Esentepe where he sources his timber from?

I used kerb stones to construct mine. Cheap and of course don't rot. I'm in Esentepe if you want to have a look.

I used breeze blocks which are cheap and then I faced them of with cement.

that should not be a problem, we bought them here in deepest Dipkarpaz for the same purpose, therefore you must be able to get them here

Thanks for your comments.
I believe that there is a timber yard near to the main car park in Girne so I'll try them.
I'm thinking that roof joist size may be more readily available.
Dropshot.....I'd be very interested to come any have a nosy at your Kerb stones when we are next over on the 9th April.
Thanks
