Can anyone recommend a GOOD! dog groomer

I am looking for a good dog groomer for my special boy. He's a Lhapa Apso, so long coat that needs to be shorter now that the weather is getting warmer, took him to one when we arrived in September, and the dipstick, just plaited his hair and put a bloody satin bow on top of his head...................stop laughing it was not funny!! so if anyone knows of someone that knows what there doing please let me know

My vet, Petcross has a dog grooming service. Might be worth a try. My dog never gets groomed - she is scruffy like me, but appreciate that yours does need it. Will give you the phone number if you are interested.

But I am sure others will come up with other ideas.

Hair of the dog. We have four lap dogs, three of which have very fine long hair and one of them is a Llasa Apso look alike. Facilities are top notch and would not go anywhere else. You pays your money and takes your choice. Some people don't want to go as far as Karaoglanoglu, but its worth it.

I would also recommend 'Hair of the dog'. They groom our 2 dogs. Used to take them to the vets but as they were a little naughty and tried to nip, they were sedated and I didn't want that to happen. Since going to 'Hair of the dog' they have become much more amenable to grooming.

pet cross does a lot of work foor the dogs in the community for free KAR use them and they never question there for i think if you are going to spend some money give it to the people that serve the community for free and are there to help at all times with free emergency service 24hr
