Help needed with British Passport Renewal

Hello,

I am trying to renew 2 passports through online application. I am confused about whether to enter the country as Cyprus or Turkey. I'm thinking that if I put down Cyprus the passports will be sent to the South, as this has happened to me before with a parcel. But the BRS website says to put the country as Cyprus.

Any help is appreciated.

Have just renewed mine and put Turkey, the lady in Cafe Boss said I should've put Cyprus - it then goes to Belfast - she suggested that I put a covering letter in which I did (it went to Liverpool) that was done and went by DHL on 11 Feb and I picked new one up from Cafe Boss yesterday. Thought that was pretty good service. Old one should arrive back within 3-4 days.

Sorry, but you have confused me! So you put Turkey as country of residence in the application form, then included a covering letter - what did you say in the letter, and what is the relevance of Belfast and Liverpool? Do they always post the old passports separately from the new ones?

sorry didn't mean to confuse anybody - apparently Belfast deal with our passports from here. Basically the letter said that I had made a mistake putting Turkey instead of Cyprus. (think Turkey must be dealt with in Liverpool). Thank goodness it was accepted. Any documentation sent with the passport renewal is sent back separately that includes the old passport which I will need back as it has my residency stamp in it.

Done mine recently and 17 days to get new one back. I put country of residence as Cyprus with address as Mersin 10 Turkey if I remember correctly.

That is what got me confused; the Mersin 10 Turkey part. I suppose I will do it like Meldy has done. Hope that we will get it in good time.
