Did Anyone Else See and Can Anyone Explain .

This morning at around 5.30 I saw a very bright ,what appeared to be a cluster of about 5 lights, high in the sky travelling at what seemed like about 4 times as fast as a normal passenger plane, heading from South to North maybe slightly East.

Would this be a Satellite being moved or what ever it is they do with them.?

OK that is very good and thank you, but it was actually 5.35 our time, I made a note of it. Just out of interest what is the speed this seemed to be very fast.

I wish you luck on this, as I posted something which was not to far removed from what you have seen.
Every one wants to take the p-----s but I still believe it was not a satellite.

It was probably the International space station which orbits the earth every 90 mins (orbit is variable) at approx 17,000 mph, and if the solar collecting panels are fully extended it would look similar to what you describe.

The following link will give you the opportunity to find out when it is coming over Cyprus again - if you are up and about in the early hours and the sky is clear. Viewing times are between a few seconds and a few minutes. It is usually easy to find as it is one of the brightest moving objects in the sky

I seem to miss all the X Files fun, due to taking shut eye. Perhaps I should tak emyself to the roof, but doubt I can keep my eyes open. Sounds fascinating.

And be warned, KibKomers, anyone who extracts the Michael or uses language some of we ladies do not understand will be suitably reprimanded.

Having said that, I would welcome any info as to what can be seen in the night sky. I b ought Alan a super telescope in Australia and he has harldy used it, but this sounds like a 'must use.

The video you kindly posted was from a different angle, I was looking directly up and it was very high. So not sure.

But in the UK in I think 1966 whilst walking to church on a cold clear Sunday evening we saw a UFO, It was the most amazing sight, it was just outside Wolverhampton approx one mile away from us, it appeared to land on common land known as the Rifle Range.

It was purple white and yellow enormous, and looked very much like the space ship in Close Encounters, several other people saw this and it was reported in the local paper.

I was with my Aunty, 2 cousins and my elder sister, For several weeks after people camped out hoping to see it again. I was a child but in later life one of my contacts from the Express and Star newspaper managed to get the old report from microfiche, that was what they stored things on in those days.

I did not keep the cutting. It is still in my mind as vivid as the day I saw it.

I am not saying what I saw today was a UFO, it was more than likely a satellite.

I have also seen a ghost, and no I am not crank , in 1973 I was with my best friend and 2 girls we had met at a Disco and we went to quiet spot by the river in a beautiful village , Bridgenorth. (and before you ask, no we didn't, well not that night.)

There was disused factory I think an old carpet factory, we saw what we thought was a cavalier in the window. The hairs on the back of our necks really did bristle. I think any thoughts we had with the girls went out of the window, I think toilet paper was more important by this stage.

When I met my wife her dad worked with a guy from Bridgenorth and he mentioned it to him and evidently this was a very common sighting.

Around 1990 we went for drive one Sunday and the factory had been demolished and they had started to build upmarket duplex apartments. In the exact spot that we had seen this ghost they had stopped building, because they discovered the remains of a very old Monastery, it was being excavated and signs put up explaining that work had to cease in this spot and it is now a place of interest, if that's the right word.

I looked it up on Google and there is a lot of info about this particular ghost.
