Re: Lapta Mukhtar
Could someone tell me please where is a Muhtar mountainside in Lapta. I used to use the Muhtar in the Barbers shop until he stopped , then my Cypriot friend used to go for me, but I know she always has problems with the one she went to - he was never home, and her English isn't good enough to be able to describe exactly where he was. I feel guilty keep asking her every year when she has to go looking for him after she's been at work all day, so want to see someone myself.

Hi Stella, I use Ali Toson.
If you come up the Chateau Lambusa road, go to the 't' junction, turn right.
Take the first left, it's just past a little shop. Go to the next 't', turn right. His house is on the right hand side.
You need to park and walk down the lane. His house is the first on the left.
If he isn't there, his son or wife do it for you.
I hope this helps,

Re: Lapta Mukhtar
When the barber stopped, I was directed to a man one house (detached) down hill from Charcos Restaurant. It made sense as he was near my house. Very helpful - both him and his wife.
Having driven past his house yesterday these are not the best direction.
Go downhill from Charcos for 20 yards and there is a sharp left hand bend. The Muktas's house is the detached one about 30 yards ahead on the left hand side. Single storey, concrete, traditional village house behind an iron railing fence. There's only one - can't be missed.
