MOT dates 2013

Hi

Does anyone know when the MOT dates for 2013 will be known please?

We only holiday in TRNC at the moment so will probably have to arrange for someone else to do it for us, depending when it's due....just a bit worried that we miss the date so I'm trying to plan ahead!

I had a look at the previous post but can't see a link to the dates. Am I missing something or can anyone help on next years MOT dates?

Go into the tax office they have a sheet on the wall with dates.

I thought that they stuck the page from the Newspaper on the wall when the info is published

I wouldn't have thought that anyone will know the dates for next year until January - unless you've got a time machine hidden away somewhere

your lucky if they have the current years dates on show let alone next year

If the time bracket is missed a fine can be imposed. If they consider themselves to be busy it can be "come back next week" and, that is often repeated for several weeks !

Look on the 2012 list and work out where your registration letters will probably be next year!! Usually not far off when it was first taxed, which I presume was a multiple of 3 years ago minus 1, if it is not due til next year. That may give you some idea. eg we bought in December, the first time we had to do an MOT it was end Nov/Dec. This year as it is due again is Oct/Nov. So it is moving by about 2 weeks a year backwards!! If you understand my meaning!!! This MAY help!!

I'll have to try and get my head around your suggestion to see if I can work it out.....didn't buy car new, road tax due 1st January (FS) if thats an indication, head hurting already

i found last years dates dont if anyone can try and work out from that what it would be this year

As I am not in Cyprus & the MOT is not due until next year, I'll wait!!
