Irresponsible Parents!

In the space of 4 days, I have seen 2 examples of idiots behaving so irresponsibly with what I assume is their children it really does beggar belief. The first, a young man on a motor scooter, riding down past Taners, so quite a hill, with a toddler balanced on one knee with his arm round him to hold him on, and steering with the other hand, all the way down to the sea and back up the hill again.....then, another bloke with a small girl standing up at the front of the handle bars, again on a motor scooter going along past the new University my Bellapais Island. Well at least HE had both hands on the handlebars!!!!! Are these people completely insane!!!!!! Why put a childs life at risk like that. In the UK the kids would be taken off such irresponsible people. I assume these were the dads, but of course they could have been anybody!

I've given up with them if they have a car its always best for the child to be on the drivers lap so tehy get the full force of the airbag

I remember the days here when there was no cars, a family would return from the beach on a Sunday afternoon with the whole family on a green Suzuki Birdie moped, that was father, mother and 3 young children and the father had been drinking all day.

Yes, exactly karmels, no other hazards such as traffic, potholes, speed bumps, and anything else that they may have to negotiate, plus slower speeds.......they really should know better these days though.

When we were there a few weeks ago going down to the new harbour 4 on a scooter one boy stood up in front of his father one girl sat behind him then his wife behind her.
