LED Gadget/Gismo

I have a need for a small, low power, mains or battery type, LED, which emits a green or red pulse of light similar to what at one time was incorporated into car radios and mobile telephones. I would be very grateful if anyone can advise me where I might be able to buy such a thing, preferably in the TRNC.

Do you just want an 'LED', or a 'circuit board / device plus led complete'? Do you intend to 'trigger' or activate it by some means, or by some event, or is it to run continuously?

In other words, what's it for?

And does it have to be coloured, or would white do?
