Great News for Esentepe

Work has now started on the eagerly awaited Esentepe Beach Front project.
The beach Restaurant is now under construction as well as walls to run the length of the beaches to stop cars etc from going on the beach, Beach bungalows and car parks are also being built and also a road to link the beach with the Asphalt Car park on top of the cliff Stonecastle side.
This type of facility has been eagerly awaited, It will be a lovely place for sunset watching and lazy lunches by the Sea.
Bring it on!!!!!

Hi,

We had a walk down to the beach on Sunday to see what was happening and things do seem to be moving
There was an area pegged out possibly for the restaurant and at the far end of the beach a wall was being
built. We did wonder what this was for but you have now explained it is so that the cars cannot park on the beach.
There is no sign of the toilet and shower block which was mentioned several years ago but I guess it will progress
over time. As they say, "Rome wasn't built in a day".

Fantastic and not before time. Any idea on expected completion time?

Apparently it is a 2 year project with some of it hopefully up and running later this year!

Beach bar now moving on at a pace, Beach is now long and litter free (For the moment anyway!) Palm trees planted looking good for opening in a month or so.

Must say East way is becoming more appealing.
