Moderator Abuse of Power / Impartiality

I wish to register my disgust that a Moderator has initiated a Post and then locked it even though that Moderator has stressed within the post the need for "people to have their own opinion" .
A Moderator should not be allowed to lock their own posts just because they do not like the responses of others.
The subject matter is irrelevant, the manner in which it has been handled is unacceptable on Kibkom.

Soner please take note and respond.

The person who started the thread posted a link from an article which was giving information about the problems in the south of Cyprus regarding property deeds. The original posting was not posted under the guise of a moderator, it was posted by an individual because the article may have been of interest to others. It was not posted to re-open any heated discussion as this has happened before in the past.

The person making the original posting clearly said that they fully understood that others may have not had a good experience when looking to obtain their own property deeds and could appreciate why some people may not agree that the situation had improved. At no time did they question the opinion of others.

The subject of property purchase and title deeds has appeared many times on the forum and there are plenty of discussions to be found on the subject and to prevent repetition and the thread going downhill the thread has been locked.

Please accept and respect the decision. No further explanation is required and this post has now been locked..
