Pay as you go turkcell sim

Hi

I have a mifi and turkcell pay as you go when I come over just top up and surf .
Does anybody know if I can top it up in turkey ,and if the sim will work .

Over there next week and wanted to take if it does work

HI Kav, I spent quite a lot of time in Turkey and it is not possible to top up a Cyprus sim card while you are there.
If you are only going for just a couple of weeks I would try to top up in Cyprus and use the phone in Turkey.
If you buy a sim card in Turkey, although you pay for a month it is cut off after 2 weeks, as a good friend of mine found out last year.
They seem to have strange rules concerning mobile connections and internet dongles, I had to ask my Turkish friend to use his Kimlik card as they would not accept my TRNC Kimlik.
Last year a dongle with 5meg cost over a 100 TL and you could not top it up if it ran out, I had to be very careful what I watched or read on the internet.
The dongle in Turkey is called VINN which is Turkcell.
