Went to this Cafe Bar for lunch recently and was pleasantly suprised, lovely wee place on Crystal Bay at Esentepe.
We had the blackboard special which was Chicken Masala with chips and salad, but as a suprise the owner brought out a plate of prawn dumplings and dip that were lovely, main course was just as nice, lovely setting overlooking the swimming pool and charming owners A Martinque guy called Octave who specialises in Caribbean cooking and his Belgian wife.
Will be going back to try the Jerk Chicken Mmmm!

Yes, it is a great restaurant run to a high standard by a delightful family.
We have recommended it to many and all enjoyed it and went back for more.
To finish off, try the cinnamon flavoured rum

We are big fans of the Coconut Bar having visited many times, Octave and his lovely family are very friendly welcoming people who treat returning guests more like part of their family. We have always had excellent good value food, the homemade flavoured rums are worth visiting for alone!
Well done to Octave and Barbara for having the courage to try something a bit different to most restaurants.
