Advice re ipad smashed screen

Smashed the screen on my ipad 2 - device still working but screen needs replacing.
Anyone offer any advice or have any experience of having screen replaced here?

I had the glass replaced on mine at the computer shop next to my beautiful laundrette which is opp teachers hotel
