Renewing TRNC driving license

Our driving licenses are due for renewal in July, where do we go to do this?

Squeaker .. No problem to renew your licence at the tax office behind the hospital in Girne ..

Muctars letter ..
Copy of kocan or sale agreement
2 passport size photos ..
Copy of passport photo page ..
Copy of residency stamp page .. Not applicable if over 60 ..
Filled in form ( available from tax office in English) ..
Last but not least the money .. Do this on the left at the last desk of the road tax kiosk ..
You will be given a pink form & told to collect in one week ..
There is a specific desk for collection on the right hand side opposite to where you get the road tax ..

harita, what if they live in Gazimagusa or Guzulyert or Bogaz or Lefkosa? Does Girne cover these areas also?

As they live in Alsancak the question doesn't arise

Seriously though, I take your point, and would presume that each local Tax Office deals with their own area - I can't see why they wouldn't...

No doubt, someone will be along in a minute if I'm wrong!

I live in Tatlisu which comes under Gazimigusa but I renewed my licence at Girne. It seems they all go to Lefkosia anyway and it took a month for it to come back

Thanks mickham, it would appear, therefore, any district office can process applications - very sensible. I was unaware the poster lived in Alsancak.
