Planning ahead so would like to know good reliable garage to carry out service on the car (Suzuki Jimny). Plus best place to purchase tyres. Any recommendations please with directions/location. Live east side near Catalkoy.

Talk to Bob at Tiga they are japanese car specialists I bought mine from them. He will meet you give you a courtesy car and return yours serviced and cleaned. He may be able to help with tyres too. Tell him Linda recommended you to him. Great firm. 0533 868 5819.

Hi I agree with with Butterfly, Mustafa In Ozankoy village next to RAZA looks after my Hyundai Tuscon, always does a good and reasonably price job

Would thoroughly recommend Tiga & Bob. Most helpful, do a first class job and don't try to get you to have things done that don't need doing. For tyres I have always used Pit Stop but like all else out here it does pay to shop around and ask about discount.

Re: Car Servicing
Mustafa and his brother in Ozankoy may run what appears to be a dumping ground for cars but Mustafa is the best mechanic I have found in the past eight years. Never expensive, always willing to help, will do minor bits and diagnosis mostly for free or very, very little money, reliable (in Cypriot time keeping ways) and trustworthy. The only real problem you ever face is when he can fit you in as they are always, always very busy, sometimes up to 20:00 or 21:00 at night on every day of the week. So far for me he has serviced my SWB Pajero, a LWB Pajero 2.8, a Citroen C3 (horrible little car with a weird semi auto box), a Freelander 1.8 (never buy one of those!!!) and my Hyundai Santa Fe 2.4 petrol. I am what you may class as a very happy customer.
No courtesy car, no expensive bills, spare parts he gets from somewhere so they don't cost the earth and a damn good job every time. Downside: Make sure you have your seat covered and always clean your steering wheel and gear shift before you drive away in your good clothes or you may end up with a dirty set of hands - lol.

No matter how hard the past, you can always begin again.

Re: Car Servicing
Waddo - car servicing like it used to be! - no frills...
I once needed to use 'the facilities' at my old garage in the UK, and having seen the state of the wash hand basin, decided that my hands were probably more hygenic just leaving them as they were...
Sorry about that, for the squeamish
