Hi all,
Being new at this having a gas bottle for cooking, out of desperation today i have picked up a small green bottle.
Having got it home I found out that the regulator will only fit the large bottles.....not very clever of me!!!!!
Anyway, should anyone be close to turtle bay that can make use of one of these, you can have it for 10TL.
I paid 20TL this morning ( which i assume is the going rate when you are not taking back an empty??)

HELP! Re: Small green gas bottle
I'm possibly (or even probably) wrong, but I thought that the regulator fitting was the same - is Lozzycroft right? - or does (s)he just need a lesson in fitting the regulator to the bottle?

Ah! - Thanks Mel, I've never come across any of those - are they for using with gas lights and small cooking (camping) burners, and that sort of thing?karmels wrote:Keithcaley

Come to think of it, perhaps I have seen them in Supermarkets and Yapi markets, but not really thought about 'em...

HI Keith, yes you can use the with a light fitting or a burner for cooking. I used to have a few for when the power went off in the restaurant they give good light and cheap to run.
