Return valve? - or 'Non-return' valve?
For what part of your plumbing system in particular? - e.g. Pool (balance tank feed) or Cold water system (Gravity feed from roof tank), or even Central heating?
What diameter is the ring?
A photo of the actual plumbing fitting that the ring is from (and also of its situation in the system) would help - as would any writing (manufacturer, part number, etc.) printed or embossed on the fitting itself...

I, like you tried to find the same o ring without success, finished up buying new valve, but after this valve let me down bought a butterfly type valve was assured that nothing could stick in it and it is great or was, because don't live there anymore.Mollie the cat wrote:My return valve is leaking, I need a rubber O ring. tried three main suppliers no luck, any advice anyone please?

If it is a pool type one you can try them the other way in sometimes the profile works better or as a crude fix get a larger one and squarely cut a section out and super glue the ends.
Some are wise and some otherwise.....
