location of vehicle licencing office - Lefkosa

Help please for a 'swallow' neighbour. Their car is, currently, registered to one person and they wish to add another name to the Log Book (Kocan) to ease the legal process in case the registered owner dies. The office used to be close to the old CTA office, but I read somewhere it has now moved to a modern building. Can anybody please tell me where it is (Google Earth co-ordinates) would be fantastically helpful? Thank you in advance.

Can't confirm they have moved, but 4 weeks ago there were still in the old building 'cos I went there. - if that helps, which I doubt....

Can confirm that it has not moved and is still in the same place it has always been - behind the old CTA building. It has not moved to the new building where you can obtain your first Turkish License!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Been to both of them today.

OK, let's get this straight. There are two departments in Lefcosia that people seem to be confused about. One is where you can tax your car or change ownership, that office is behind the old CTA office - which is no great help if you are new here so I will try to get google earth coordinates and post them here later for everyone under a new thread.

The other department that people look for is where you apply for your first Turkish driving licence, the instructions on how to get to that place have been posted on another thread but under the heading of "Motors". Again I will try to include the google earth coordinates in a new thread as well.

It is important that you go to the correct office or you could find yourself lost in Lefcosia very easily.
