Recently my wife attended the Kyrenia Medical Centre (the private hospital near to HSBC bank)
with a respiratory problem. She saw Dr Ozlem (apologies for a possibly wrong spelling) who took her history and made a thorough examination. She advised a course of treatment which meant staying overnight and possibly another night. Within no time at all my wife was in bed with a team of 3/4 nurses preparing her for the I/V and other medications. She received various i/v drugs over that day and during the night. By the following day there was a very marked improvement. There is still some more to be done over time but she received absolutely first class care from the Doctor and the nursing staff. I know it's private and it isn't free but the final cost was in my opinion very reasonable. My wife went from looking as though she was at death's door to 'rude' health. Well done everyone. I have been known for being less than flattering about health care here in the TRNC but this was absolutely good effort all round.
Just thought I would share a very positive experience with you.
well done Kyrenia Medical Centre.

Do you refer to Kolan medical centre or the one opposite HSBC with the laboratory?

Niceone; Thanks for that. some progress is being made thankfully.
as for location if the hospital, it is the one opposite the old Eduran Laboratory. On the same side as Pertev the vet.
